There are two methods you can use to add meta-data to a given category to give that category a more descriptive name.

Adding category meta-data from the command-line

• Open up a text editor.
• Save a file under the name category.properties in the directory you want to have a more descriptive name. The text file should contain a line with the key=value pair of blojsom.name=Descriptive category name. The description you give should be concise.

  blojsom.name=Descriptive category name
  

Adding category meta-data from the administration console

• Login to your blog's administration console.
• Click on the "Categories" tab.
• If you are adding a new category, you can type in a description when adding a category.
