Setup Administration Console Access If you have not gone through the administration console setup, you will need to do that before trying to setup ecto.

Setting up blojsom to work with ecto (Mac OS X blogging client)

• Download and install ecto.
• Click on Windows -> Accounts to start the account manager.

• If you are configuring ecto to use either the Blogger API or the MetaWeblog API, use a URL of the form http://your.blog.com/(context)/xmlrpc/(blog-id)/

• If you are configuring ecto to use the Atom API, use a URL of the form http://your.blog.com/(context)/atomapi/(blog-id)/

• Provide a username and password from when you had setup administration access.

• Give the ecto account a name.
