Exploded WAR deployment

If you are installing blojsom using exploded WAR deployment, please read the JBoss FAQ page on exploded deployment.

1. Download the blojsom.war file.
2. Navigate to your JBoss server deployment directory. For example, /jboss-3.2.5/server/default/deploy.
3. Create a directory called blojsom.war.
4. Unpack the blojsom.war file into the /jboss-3.2.5/server/default/deploy/blojsom.war directory.

   jar xvf blojsom.war

5. Read the 5 minute installation and configuration or the detailed installation and configuration guide for more information on configuration options.
6. Start JBoss.

Quickstart deployment

If you are installing blojsom using the blojsom Quickstart bundle, simply do the following.

1. Download the Quickstart blojsom.war file.
2. Start JBoss.
3. Copy the blojsom.war file to your JBoss server deployment directory. For example, /jboss-3.2.5/server/default/deploy.
4. JBoss should automatically deploy and start blojsom.
5. Proceed from Step 4 in the blojsom Quickstart guide.
